Growing zone 8 plants in zone 9

Can I grow zone 8 plants, like Venus Fly Traps, in Zone 9? Are there any special things I can do to grow zone 8 plants within zone 9 region?

Hi Justin,

Not really. Basic care for Venus Flytraps still applies in zone 9. You still get enough of a change in the seasons that they will experience their normal dormancy. It may just be a little shorter, and you won't need to worry about any special winter care.
