QuestionIf i get to order a Albany pitcher plant from u guys as my christmas gift. would it be ok being shipped in these cold conditions??? i live in missouri near st.Louis. thanks
AnswerHi Robert,
What we do is watch the weather forecast for particular areas. If you are having very cold weather, we will hold the shipment until it warms up some. Cephalotus can actually handle a light frost, and we pack them really well. We've found they have a much harder time with hot weather, and have lost more of them in the summer than winter before we perfected our packing techniques. For winter shipping we also have 72 hour heat packs available.
Good Growing!
