QuestionHey guys, I am doing an art project in school that will involve a topiary, (indoors) I was thinking it would be really cool to have a few carnivorous plants in the topiary, I was thinking pings and droseras, do you think that this could work?
Thanks,
Nathan
AnswerHi Nathan,
I've seen over the last couple of years these beautiful topiary walls at garden centers made from mosses with succulents in them. I see know reason why this wouldn't work with Mexican pings and some sundews if you used sphagnum moss as the moss in the topiary. You would need a way to keep the moss moist, and respect the light requirements of the plants you select. Many of these plants are used to growing on hillsides anyway, so this really shouldn't be a stretch.
Good Growing!
