QuestionSo I have small planters of venus fly traps which are growing outside. I understand they need dormancy and deal with the cold during winter. But living in Los Angeles, California. our winters get pretty rainy and wet. could I still leave them outside? or would they die from being over watered...
AnswerHi Jad,
As long as your planter has drain holes (carnivorous plants should not be in undrained containers), and you don't leave them sitting in deep water, they will be fine. There's no way you get more rain than us up here in Oregon, and ours are outdoors most of the winter.
Good Growing!
