QuestionI bought a Cephalotus a month ago, the plant did not adjusted to the enviroment and died. what are the chances that the plant come back from the roots? i have been water the pot regularly.
AnswerHi Edwin,
It depends on why the plant died, and if the roots are still alive. If the top is dead you can clip that off. If you still see white rootstock you have a good chance of it being able to send up new shoots. If it's brown and mushy then the plant is dead. You may need to unpot the plant and look at the rhizome/roots to see this.
