QuestionHi
I have a small collection of plants now and I hound out our water hardness in Camas Washington has a range of 8-66 ppm this should be safe for most varieties of carnivores right? I have 4 sarracenia 1 flytrap 1 darlingtonia and 2 nepenthes. Oh and about that mystery seedling.... It was grass. : ( oh well. Can't wait to visit you nursery on July 16th.
Thanks
Nathan
AnswerHi Nathan,
That's pretty low, so that water should be fine. During the summer when the dissolved solids are higher, be sure to top water your plants some to help keep minerals leached out some. This is especially true for Venus flytraps.
Good Growing!
