Could I plant sarracenia purpurea in an enclosure for redfoot tortoises safely? The tortoises may nibble on it!

Hello Helen,

You are quite correct. Tortoises, as well as a number of pests and herbivores of many kinds, would probably try to eat or at least bite parts of the leaves off and eat them. I tend to keep my exotic pets and plants apart for that very reason.
