QuestionI want to know the speed of a dosera Capensis when capturing it's pray. It live in a window with direct sun light for an hour a day in el paso Texas
AnswerHi Alberto,
With only 1 hour of sun a day, a Cape Sundew probably won't be sticky enough to capture insects. The leaves will be pale green and begin to curl under. They need more sun than that. It should be in a window that gets at least 4 hours of sun. That's usually going to be a west or south window. If you don't have a window like that, consider using artificial light. We have detailed information on that in our volume #2 DVD along with detailed growing information, and hands-on demonstrations on repotting, mixing soil etc... http://www.cobraplant.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=38&products_id=...
