Hi again! I've heard many people say that you need to repot your plants from late feb. to early march. But I have a lot to do so would be okay if I repot them towards the end of march. ( I have neps and VFT)

Also, I live in zone 6 so when should I start to let my north american plants wake up?

Hi Victor,

Anytime this month or next is going to be fine.  Our rule is that early spring is a good time for transplanting since plants recover from any transplanting shock very quickly.  This applies mostly to North American plants.  This is the only time you should do division.  Division of rhizomes later during active growth tends to set plants back.  

You can transplant anything at any time of year if you are very gentle.  Time of year is less crucial with tropicals such as Nepenthes.

If your temperatures are staying above freezing at night, go ahead and uncover your North American plants.  Watch the weather and cover if you are supposed to get a freeze below 25 F.
