Do Sarracenias do well in Pure peat (100% peat)?

Hi David,

They'll grow alright, but you have more problems with rotting due to lack of aeration in the media.  The pots also don't drain well with pure peat.  I use pure peat in small pots for seedlings, or in cell plug trays, but I always used a mixed media for older plants.  Roots need oxygen!
