QuestionHi,
I live in Walnut Cove, NC in growing zone 7. I need to know if a systemic insecticide is safe for carnivorous plants. It's called Systemic Insect Drench by Fertilome and I found it in a hardware store. I want to protect my plants against grasshoppers that I found munching on my plants (as well as any other pests) but some of the ingredients are questionable to me. I guess in other words would ya'll use such a product and if not what would you reccomend? Should it be sulfuric like for fungicides? Thanks for you're expertise and advise on this.
Daniel
AnswerThis product is safe to use on carnivorous plants. We use another brand that uses the same active ingredient. As always, follow the directions provided by the manufacturer.
