QuestionHi! I have a large (12") terra-cotta pot I that I'm planning on planting some Drosophyllum in. How many Drosophyllum plants would be advisable in a pot of that size? Thanks!
AnswerYou could potentially place three to four seeds in there. I think we've done that many in that size pot. It'll be a bit crowded, but the effect is quite spectacular. On another note, we recently repotted an adult Drosophyllum, and it survived! We may likely do it again and film it. So some of the general assumptions about this plant is being dispelled. In any case, watch Volume 2 of the Grow Carnivorous Plants DVD series for more information about growing Drosophyllum.
Good growing!
