QuestionI purchased several venus fly-traps this past spring from 2 different sources, and none of them produced any flowers/seeds. Do they need to be a certain age to start flowering? I am in the San Antonio, Texas area, the plants are in full sun and doing well otherwise. Thanks!
AnswerHi Lisa,
It easily could be an age issue. Sometimes younger plants will try and bloom, but I often cut these flowers off to help the plant put more energy into leaves. After your plants go through a dormancy you will probably see flowers next year.
