Question Allexperts,
I have a question concerning the drosera dichotoma. That I recieved today
from you guys and my question is whether or not the plant will be able to
adapt to the new climate before the winter months. Is this a problem for the
plant.
Sincerely,
Weylin
AnswerHi Weylin,
Other than the break-in period after the shipping you should be just fine with it. They are very resilient plants, and they were not in high humidity in our greenhouse. Our sundew house is completely open during the summer, and the humidity is high at night and low during the day. This plant does have a dormancy period you'll see in December and January. It will look very dead, but don't toss it. They start new growth in February.
Good Growing!
