QuestionPrim rose
QUESTION: Allexperts,
I have a question concerning whether or not a Primrose Butterwort can be grown as tropical plant? I saw the episode 4# of Ask the Carnivorous Plant Guys. You guys at the time you were experimenting whether or not you could do that, I'm curious as to whether or not you succeed in growing it as a tropical plant.
ANSWER: Hi Weylin,
Pinguicula primuliflora does ok with a minimal dormancy like they would get in a windowsill. They don't seem to do well if only under lights at the same photoperiod all year. They also are much longer lasting if grown in large containers since they are prone to rot easily. Bigger pots helps to moderate their soil moisture more.

QUESTION: Allexperts,
Hey sorry about not getting back to you. I have a follow up question. Would it be wise to repot the Prim Rose butter wort? It Seems to be doing quite well in the pot that I have it in. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Weylin Callery
AnswerHi Weylin,
There's no hurry, but I would recommend getting it into a larger pot in the next month or two. Go up to about a six inch pot, and a tall pot would be great.
