QuestionHello I just bought a cephalotus from you.My first cephalotus actually I am very exited. When it arrives I will put it in my cp set up with everything just right. Here is the question after it aclimates to it's new enviorment I am going to transplant it is a soil mix of 1/3 peatmoss 1/3 sand and 1/3 orchid bark ok for a cephalotus follicularis.
AnswerHi Yulian,
Rather than orchid bark, see if you can find pumice or a fine grade lava rock. Cephalotus grows in very sandy soil in Australia, and tends to like a high mineral content in the soil.
Good Growing!
