So both of my vft's (one of which is from you) are sending up flower stalks...on the one that is not from you guys..it has been doin the same thing for quite some time now.the flower stalk is several inches tall..but it hasn't opened up yet..it has full sun all day

Patience is key. The buds will open up when the temperatures are warm enough. I don't know where you live, so I can't comment on your climate. Regardless of the weather, just be patient. I don't see anything wrong with your plants. They look healthy. Give them time.
