Carnivorous plants arent doing so well

Question

Sarracenia collection
So this year I repotted all my plants into one big planter. Over the winter they did fine but when they started coming back the growth is kind of stunted and scraggly. I have them in 8 hours of sunlight and I think I may have an aphid problem as well. I live in portland oregon and the weather here has been really weird, could this have caused the poor growth? Here are some photos.

Answer
Hi Robert,

Yes, the cool spring weather is partly to blame.  New growth is often at the mercy of unstable spring weather.  Dramatic temperature changes will cause leaf imperfections.  This is part of the risk when growing plants outdoors, and it happens to our plants too.

There's not much you can do for the plant other than hope the sun will come out and the weather warms up.  Frankly, I'm tired of this cold dreary weather myself.  I'm ready for summer!

Good growing!
