Question
First off I'd like to admit I screwed up!  I accidentally bought a lowland variety N. Truncata to grow along with my N. Ventricosa, Maxima and Kona.

Any tips on growing lowlanders next to highlanders?

All my plants grow six inches under two t8 32W 4f fluorescent bulbs with a total lumen output of 5600 lumens.  During the day the temp reaches about 75 degrees and 68 at night.

My highlanders are doing just fine, but my truncata is growing very slowly (about one new leaf in 2.5 months!)

Hi Andrew,

Truncata is really an intermediate plant.  We've found that both the lowland and highland varieties of this species grow equally well in either conditions.  The plant grows very slowly by nature, much slower than your other Nepenthes, so it's not really about the temperature.  As long as the plant looks healthy, it'll grow just fine with your other plants.  We also have lowland truncatas in our highland greenhouse, and they still produce massive pitchers in summer.
