QuestionFor the sundews, is there any you sell that have noticeable tentacle movement. I've heard that drosera pygmy scorpiodes does. I've also heard mixed messages about drosera rotundifolia moving in minutes on its prey. Thanks!
AnswerHi Corbin,
All sundews have tentacle movements. Some are quicker than others, such as D. capensis, D. regia and D. burmanii. Nearly all will show some kind of movement within 15 minutes.
If you are looking for leaf movement, then D. capensis and D. regia would be your best bet. They have the most dramatic leaf movement of all the sundews. Typically it'll take about 4-6 hours for the leaf to curl around the insect.
Good growing!
