Hi guys I was wondering do you need two flowers to pollinate? such as s. flava and s. flava thanks.

Hi John,

With Sarracenia you need two flowers for successful pollination.  It's better if it is two different plants, but I have successfully cross-pollinated two flowers on the same plant.  Also, any Sarracenia can be cross pollinated to form hybrids.
