Question
Nepenthes burned from
I have some small Judith Finn Nepenthes. I live in Florida and due to the harsh winter days we just had all of my nepenthes plants/leaves turned totally brown. They appear to be alive but I'm not sure if I should cut them back or not. Please tell me what I can do to save them.
AnswerHi Sheryl,
At this point just trim off any dead leaves, or ones that look really bad. It's going to be a few weeks before you know if they'll pull through or not. The upper leaves don't look real bad, so they may do ok. Watering with a Superthrive solution could be helpful also since it would help them grow more roots if they were damaged. More than anything it's just going to be time, and making sure they don't get cold again.
Good Growing!
