Questionhello im having an outbreak of whiteflies and would like to know if you have any recommendations on killing them. ive heard orthene, alcohol or burning the plant though its affecting my more expensive plants so id rather not burn them...sorry bus leaves in 4 minutes, so leaving it short, do you have any pesticide recommendations or ways to kill them? thanks

Use an insecticide based on imidacloprid. Bayer makes ready to use product. It is very low odor and is a systemic insecticide, so it will kill bugs you don't see. If you already have Orthene or Ortho Systemic Insect Killer, that will work great also. Just be sure to follow directions on the label of either product. If you have other houseplants, be sure to inspect them also, because they may have them also, and may have been the source of your outbreak.
