Question
I just bough some soil from my cape sundew and I burned the plant accidently. So I wanna know if I buy a new cape sundew can I reuse that soil because it was only about a week old

Hi Jontue,

For proper hygiene, you should use a fresh mix of soil.  Never reuse soil from a plant that died.  Use a mix of 1 part peat moss and 1 part perlite.  Make sure the soil ingredients doesn't have any fertilizers added by the manufacturer.  Fertilizers will also kill your sundew.
