I asked some nurseries around where I live, and I can't seem to find any Consan 20.

Do you who does sell it or of another product that can take care of algea like it does?

Hi John,

The active ingredient is quantaray ammonium.  You could check with California Carnivores for Physan, which contains this ingredient. Another possibility is to check online for a distributor.

This product is very useful in getting rid of algae, fungus and bacteria on the soil surface or in the water.  However, be very careful in its application.  Do NOT use it on sundews or butterworts.  They suffer severe leaf damage when sprayed with this product.  It's safe to use with Sarracenia, flytraps and Nepenthes.  Always follow the directions provided by the manufacturer.
