QuestionI am planning to ordered a D. nitidula x pulchella(Pygmy Sundew) from you guys. But I have a question. The area I live in gets an Ok about of direct light out side, but it gets to cold to live the Pygmy Sundew outside. I would prefer to leave the Pygmy Sundew in my terrarium. My question is would my lighting set up be OK. I use 1 120 watt daylight bulb, 1 120 watt warm white (or something like that), 1 120 watt white bulb (each one is about 2000 Lumens), and 1 40 watt florescent grow bulb. I also have 3 nepenthes ventrata (2 are basil shoots) 1 nepenthes muluensis x lowii, 1 D. adelae, and a P. moranensis growing in the tank.
Thank you,
William
AnswerHi William,
If your Nepenthes and sundew and butterwort are growing well, the D. scorpioides should do just fine. They like full sun, but I've had great results under artificial light.
Good Growing!
