Question
lance leaf sundew pic
Hi all experts,
I purchased this sundew at Lowe's and some of the dew has died back. I have the plant near a window where it gets 2-6 hours of sunlight a day. My question is should cut the leafs back a bit, to help it grow back? If that is the case how far down should I cut? I have also have picture of the plant attached. I hope you can see the plant clearly. thanks again
Sincerely,
Weylin Callery
AnswerHi Weylin,
Just cut off the older, larger stalk. I can see that the lower one seems to be doing fine. Cut it off close to soil level. This will help the plant to produce newer leaves that are better adapted to your home humidity. It will send out numerous new shoots.
Thanks for sending the photo. This always helps us to give you better information.
Good Growing!
