Question
The first pod from the Heliamphora produced a flower and another pod on a stem, which produced a smaller flower and what looks like two pods on shorter stems.

Is this normal?  Do you know how many more times it will branch off because I might have to take it outside during the day because I am running out of room to raise the light for it.

Hi John,

Very normal.  I've seen ours branch several times.  How many times your may branch I'm not certain of.  It varies quite a bit.  You can let the flower be away from the light since it doesn't do that much photosynthesis.
