Question
i just got a nepenthes ventrata ship couple days ago and suddenly the pitcher
started to turn brown whats worng i heard that is going to take time to adape
its new envoroment is that true?

i live in CA
zone8
and i put it in a west window

Hi Aaron,

Nepenthes often go through a transition period after being shipped.  Each pitcher also lives about a month an a half.  It could be that pitcher was already on it's way out.  Just clip it off, and keep your plant watered and in bright light.  Give it time and it will grow new ones.
