QuestionQUESTION: I currently bought a pinguicula medusina and I have set it in a west facing window and I water the top soil everyday.Lately it's been nothing but chilly & wet outside.2 days have passesd since I bought it and now the tips of the tentacles have started to grow black and the leaves aren't sticky.I'm really worried about the black tips & the non-sticky leaves, is it because I water it too much??
Thanks!!!
ANSWER: Hi B,
It does sound like you are watering excessively. When you water, just top water the soil until it runs off into the tray, then leave it alone. Water it again when the water tray is dry. Mexican butterworts don't like to be as wet as many other carnivorous plants. For more information visit our caresheet pages at: http://www.cobraplant.com/caresheets/

QUESTION: I also just bought a nepethes judith finn but I don't know anything about it. I've tryied to research about it but lately I haven't found anything.Any information you have will be extremely helpful.
Thanks
AnswerHi B,
Judith Finn is a cross between Nepenthes veitchii and N. spathulata. It tends to like it a bit warm and bright. It also does much better with higher humidity. It tends to be slow grower. Otherwise it's just general Nepenthes care.
