QuestionIs it ok if I move my plants that were in a west window to a south east window because the SE window resieves 4-5 hours of direct sun while the west resieves only 3. I heard that these species only like it at a west, south or southwest window. The morning sun won't be too weak for them will it.
AnswerHi Shikhar,
This is one of those situations where you need to evaluate your own windows for light, and just use some common sense. Go for the window with the most sun. Your particular plant likes it bright. As growers we make recommendations based on what is usually the norm. A house with no obstructions to it's windows will have the brightest windows facing west or south. However, in your case it sounds like the west window has something that blocks the sun. So, follow your instincts, and go for the window with more sun.
Good Growing!
