Neem II, a product by Green Light. Can I use this product on my outdoor carnivorous plants to control aphids. It is water based, and the active ingredients are Pyrethrins, Piperonyl Butoxide Technical, and Clarified Hydrophobic Extract of Neem Oil. Is this safe for Cp's, and how often should I use it. Have you had any experience with this product?

This is a great product. It works well and is safe on most cp. Just spray the crown of the plant along with affected areas, and repeat application at the rate recommended. Both the Neem and the Pyrethrins are botanical insecticides and are short-lived. Pyrethrins kills quickly, but Neem has a slower more residual action. Neem is also fungicidal as a side benefit. Like most insecticides, it's better if you spray when it's cooler rather than in the heat of the day.
