Answer
Hi Matt,

That's a Nepenthes?  I can't tell from the photograph.  In any case, Nepenthes don't belong in full sun. They're a tropical species that grows best in partial lighting.  A sunny south window will do the job.

If the plant came in one of those goofy cube terrariums, it will wilt initially when you removed it from the terrarium suddenly.  Plants growing in terrariums don't respond well to sudden changes in the environment.  Instead, you have to introduce them to lower humidity gradually.

For now, the damage is already done, so you might as well keep it out of the terrarium.  Grow it indoors in a south window and keep the soil moist at all times.  No need to mist the plant.

You should also consider starting off with healthy plants.  It's really important to start with healthy stock if you're new to growing carnivorous plants.  That way you learn the what the plant is supposed to look like from the very beginning, and you don't have to mess with issues of acclimation or having to nurse an unhealthy plant.  Even for myself, unhealthy plants are more work than I want to invest.  Sure they're cheaper, but the amount of time and resources you spend to nurse them back to health isn't always worth it.  In a lot of cases, it's more cost-effective to start with healthy plants from the very beginning.
