Question
This is not the mix that i am currently using, BUT i was
wondering if nutrapeat would be ok to use with the pumice
sand or perelite. The only reason i ask is because its
twice the size of the bag of peatmoss that i am currently
using. Here are the specs:

Loose fill 50/50 blend of Peat Moss and Coir (coconut husk
fiber) absorbs water even when very dry and decomposes more
slowly than Peat Moss alone. Organic fertilizers and
beneficial microbes are added to help plants resist disease
and promote faster growth. For an easy seed starting mix
and potting soil, just mix with perlite. Excellent seed
cover for newly planted lawns. Available as OSH brand only.
1.5 cubic foot bag.

Hello Matt,

You actually answered your own question when the description indicated that the mix has fertilizer added. Never use anything with fertilizers added for carnivorous plants in general. It will kill them in a few short, painful, root burned weeks.
