QuestionMy Drosera Capensis is already putting up a flower, but i
just went to look and admire my carnivorous plants and i
noticed a few new growths, one of which looks like a
flower. Is it possible for a sundew to put up two flowers?
or is this just two plants fused together? Also in the
picture i provided shows the already existing flower..how
long do you estimate till it flowers
AnswerHi Matt,
Your photo didn't load properly, so I don't have one to view. In any case, it's common for a single flower stalk to split into two. This mutation results from temperature fluctuations and lighting. Once a sundew flower stalk emerge, it usually takes about 2 weeks until you see the first flower.
Good growing!
