QuestionHi,
I have three pots of venus flytraps, two of which has flower buds. One pot though has almost 15 flower buds and I have only had them flower once before. What do I need to do to get seeds from them. I live in Bonifay, Florida (Northwestern Florida Panhandle) and they are regular vft breeds.
Thanks,
~ Kolton
AnswerHi Kolton,
You really don't need to do anything. Flytraps self-pollinate very readily. In all my years of growing flytraps, I've always had seeds from flytraps in my personal collection. Just let nature do her thing!
