Can you give some info on drosera slackii? I've ordered one
(finally after waiting 4-5 yrs. for one to pop up) but I don't know just how different this particular drosera is from the rest. Can you give me some tips?

Hello Marian,

I have never cultivated that particular species nor do I know much about it other than it grows in the Cape region of South Africa. Knowing that much, I personally would grow it with my Cape sundews, in the same conditions, until I knew more about it.

I might be wrong on that, but at least the region gives some idea of what to expect based on other plants that grow there.

I would suggest contacting Sarracenia Northwest and emailing or calling the grower you obtained the plant from. The grower should include instructions on the care of this sundew. If they do not, I would be cautious about ordering anything else from them.
