Next week my family is going to Maui for spring break. Do you know if there are any carnivorous plant nurseries? Also, how would I bring back the plants to Portland, Oregon?

Hi Robert,

I'm not aware of any carnivorous plant nurseries on Maui, but I know of two on the Big Island.  If you're planning a side trip to the Big Island, let me know via email on our main website, and I'll give you their contact information.

To bring plants back to Portland, you're much safer having the nursery ship the plants to you.  Hawaii have very strict rules about transporting plants to and from the islands.  Essentially an agricultural inspector needs to certify that the plants are free of pests.
