My tropical carnivorous plant update

Question

my carnivorous plants
I decided to give a carnivorous plant update before
I move to Key West in may, Just to see if there healthy enough for the move. But I have a concern regarding my N.deroose Alata about two week's ago it fell six feet from the window and suffered some damage. One leaf was torn off which damaged the stem you might see the damaged area in the picture. Will it recover in time before the move? Also how many times a week should I water my P.moranesis in its dormency. If you see anything alse wrong with my  plant please tell me. I'll send another message about my other carnivorous plants soon.

Answer
Hi Jesus,

Nepenthes tend to be much tougher than people think.  Just pot it back up and cut off any damaged leaves and it should be fine.  If the stem got damaged, you may need to cut it off, but the plant will send out new shoots from the dormant nodes.

While your P. morananesis is dormant you can keep the soil dry.  After about a month start watering again, and spray it with a weak orchid fertilizer to give it a boost.  When you resume watering, keep the soil evenly moist.  Otherwise, your plant looks fine.

Good Growing!
