Nepenthes in hanging basket

Question
I have a Nepenthes ventricosa and an alata that I would like to move out of a terrarium and into hanging baskets. They currently live in 60-70% humidity and so I need to acclimate them down to an average of 30-40%. Also they will be going from artificial to sunlight but the southwest window they are going into can be shaded when the light picks up in March-April. What is the best way to transition the Neps?

Answer
Hello Rich,

In any change of light and humidity you will want to alter the environment gradually over time

Open the terrarium a half inch every three days until it is cracked open several inches by two weeks. it should be acclimated by that time.

Once out of the terrarrium, place the plant in progressivley brighter sun windows each week until it is in the brightest window you are going to leave it in.
