Question
nepenthes
I recently purchased a nepenthes from a local nursery. It looked a little wimpy but after only a couple weeks. It's
more than thriving and beautiful ,they have no idea of it's
variety and I'm new to nepenthes, and am wondering if I may get help with identification here.
AnswerHi Jimmy,
It's a little hard to tell since the plant has no color, but it looks like Nepenthes ventricosa. As the plant ages and gets more color, if the wings disappear, and the pitchers turn a nice rosy red, then it is ventricosa.
