QuestionWe are installing an artificial bog into our back yard in order to grow some carnivorous plants, however, I have not been able to find a list of carnivorous plants native to Oregon to plant (aside from the cobra plant). Can you send me a list of native plants or point me in the direction of the resources I will need to find them?
AnswerHi Nate,
Carnivorous plants native to Oregon include:
* Daringtonia california
* Pinguicula macroceras
* Drosera rotundifolia
* Drosera anglica
* Utricularia intermedia
We have all of these species. However, the sundews and bladderwort are already dormant and won't be available until next spring.
Good growing!
