QuestionThe plants i grow is a venus flytrap (dente, typical). the soil i use is peat and perlite with green layer of moss.I give them distilled water and the lighting i use is sun light.I do not use terrariums or fertilizer. And i do not feed them(they catch them by there selves). Am i doing anything wrong
AnswerHi Corbin,
No, you're not doing anything wrong. Moss spores are everywhere and will establish in very moist conditions. If the moss patch gets too thick, simply pull it out or scrape off the upper layer of the soil. If you remove a significant amount of soil, you'll need to add additional soil to the pot. Other than that, the flytrap and moss and coexist just fine.
Good growing!
