Hi Alex,

Yes, as long as you keep the soil dry, you should be able to use it again next year.  When dry, the soil will maintain its appropriate properties.  It's only when you wet it that it begins to break down.

Just to let you know, we ship our plants potted, so you don't need to get soil with your plant unless you wish to repot it into a different pot.
