Question
I accidentally ripped of the lid of one of my pitchers on my Asian pitcher plant..... will the pitcher survive??

Hi Zack,

Yes, the pitcher will survive, and the lid has no effect on the overall life of the pitcher.  Keep in mind, however, that each pitcher lives for only 2-3 months, so if it starts deteriorating, it could simply be close to the end of its life cycle.  Look for new growth and new pitchers coming from the tip of the plant.
