QuestionFirst of all do plants ordered from carnivorous plant nurseries such as Sarracenia Northwest and California Carnivores need to be acclimated to their proper sunlight? Also, What does drosera multifida "extrema" require in sunlight? Mexican Butterworts need a little brighter light than nepenthes correct? and water them overhead?
AnswerHi Patrick,
We cannot speak for other nurseries, only ours. We grow all carnivorous plants exactly as described in our growing instructions provided with all orders. We do this so to minimize the need to acclimate your plants once you receive them. You can also download individual care sheets at:

Drosera multidifida requires partial to full sun. For the most part, Mexican butterworts can grow alongside Nepenthes. All plants can be top watered.
Good growing!
