Questionevery year we buy a live tree for christmas. i bring it inside where the temp is around 70 degrees. it remains inside for close to 2 weeks. what is the best way to get my trees in the ground without shocking them in the cold weather. i live in southeastern Indiana. we normally get blue spruce for christmas trees, this year we have a white pine.
AnswerI order not to have to retype instructions here is a web link to how to plant a living Christmas tree. You will need to plant when the soil is not frozen. Put it out side or in a non heated garage for a week before planting but make sure it it water during this time.
