What is the different between a conifer transplant and a husky transplant

Answer
Conifer refers to a species of tree. Generally there are two types of trees--conifers (pines, spruce etc) and Hardwoods (oaks, maple etc). Husky refers to the size of the seedling. If seedling are held at the nursery for more than one year before they are ready to sell they will grow larger. Husky transplants are usually put into pots and grown for one, two and sometimes three years to produce larger plants. These larger plants have a more developed root systems and should be able to survive better when planted.
