QuestionHi again, Dan,
I'm a little confused about which Talstar One, and which Merit 75 WP to get as there are a number of them.
I found the best prices on amazon.com. Any chance you can look at the ones available there, and advise me as to what specific ones to buy?
If not, then I can send a list of the different kinds.
I, obviously, don't want to buy the incorrect version.
Thanks so much.
AnswerI just realized (after your reference) that they now sell Talstar in a convenient aerosol can. I believe that, for the homeowner, it is the most convenient solution (no mixing needed). It is not the cheapest to use but is surely the simplest.

The only reason to use the other formulations is if you intend to use on your other plants for broader range control and do not mind mixing with water by yourself. If that is the case, then I would suggest using:
http://www.amazon.com/Talstar-Insecticide-Termiticide-Bifenthrin-Mosquitoes/dp/B
For Merit, I would use this (to be mixed with water as labeled):
http://www.amazon.com/Merit-Systemic-Insecticide-2oz-BA1062/dp/B004FDUHQA/ref=sr
Again, please keep in mind that these are broad-range insecticides that control a wide range of insect pests on many of your house and garden plants. When used properly, they can give you professional-quality pest control without damaging your plants. However, these are chemical pesticides and they can be harmful and dangerous to pets, humans, and the environment so they MUST be used ONLY in accordance with label information.
I will be glad to help if, once you read the labels, you need additional assistance.
