QuestionHello, I've read that there are some herbs that slugs don't like, rosemary being one of them. Interestingly, I've seen a slug on my rosemary a few times but don't know if it actually eats the leaf. Are there really herbs that slugs don't like or even deter them? If so, what would they be?
AnswerSho:
I don't know of any particular herbs that deter the slug. I do know they hate anything that scratches their bodies. Sand, glass, egg shells. To trap them use the toothache plant ( spilanthes acmella). It attacks the plant all over. It causes them to slide over the surface. The plant has properties that numbs the tongue, but help them to slide better.
